Maple--Curly
Our maple is sold stabilized. Curly maple, and the tighter fiddleback maple, display quite a depth of figuring when stabilized, with or without dye. These treatments bring out the three dimensional quality of the figuring, which is only enhanced by rounding the wood into a knife handle.
