Sapodilla

Our sapodilla is sold unstabilized, as stabilization is not necessary. Sapodilla is a wood originating from Mexico and Central America. This wood has phenomenal curl on a rich yellow, deep brown or combination background. As with many naturally dense and woods, sapodilla does have some tendency to develop micro-cracks before being mounted. Such cracks can be repaired by filling with resin or with a mixture of sawdust and water-thin CA glue.
