Vietnamese Rosewood
Our rosewood is sold unstabilized, as stabilization is not necessary. Vietnamese, or Siamese, rosewood is one of the most dense, stable rosewoods. This colorful wood does not require stabilization, and sands to a smooth finish easily. As with many naturally dense and woods, rosewood does have some tendency to develop micro-cracks before being mounted. Such cracks can be repaired by filling with resin or with a mixture of sawdust and water-thin CA glue.
